You can choose, as part of your support contract, to have regular site visits for Preventive Maintenance – these scheduled managed service days can prove invaluable, even for clients with an in-house IT department.

We will perform set checks on the system to ensure that everything is running as designed – these may include test restore from backup tapes; anti-virus and anti-spam updates; Microsoft Hot Fix and patch installation level; firewall configuration testing. These checks are often overlooked in the day-to-day running of the IT system.

Client IT systems are regularly verified and any problems can be identified before they cause major headaches. Managed Service time, at least in part, can also be used to analyse the way in which the network is being used and to suggest and implement improvements. This results in better working practices and an improved service to the network users.
